Our Story

La Amistad speaks about the journey of the self-made baker Varun Tariyal.

 

From his early childhood, the world of bakery fascinated Varun. In his quest to know more about it, he traveled to the United Kingdom at a fairly tender age.

With his passion and zeal, he immersed himself completely into learning this art. In due course of time, Varun not only became adept in it but also familiarised himself with every flavor and the history behind it.

​

In his learning phase, not only did his love for baking grew but he also came to respect this craft more and more. His thirst to learn more took him to various places around the world (UK, Dubai, Thailand to name a few).

​

Fate brought him to work alongside some of the most world-renowned chefs. They not only filled his learning cup with their knowledge and experience but showed him the importance of detailing and precision.

​

Varun’s sole passion is baking. He loves baking like his own child and hence has always been curious to know and master every small part of it.

 

With a vision to introduce authentic French delicacies that suit the Indian palate this passionate and world-experienced patissier brings forth ‘La Amistad’.
